Easily make damascus carbon steel knife blades with the DSC© carbon Leopard by Balbach
Carbon damascus steel DSC© Leopard pattern by Markus Balbach.
A carbon damascus steel with Damascus SuperClean technology:
Markus Balbach makes his Damascus in the traditional way, i. e. his Damascus steel is forged by fire. However, it uses an innovative technology that gives its carbon damascus steel a very fine microstructure and avoids impurities. This processing technique will allow this 160-layer Damascus to eliminate the risk of separating the layers when you manufacture your blades. In addition, DSC© carbon damascus steel makes it possible to obtain blades with a good edge hold. Its hardness after heat treatment can reach 62 HRC.
An original Leopard pattern for a unique knife:
Leopard's (Leopardenfell) fur pattern by Markus Balbach is inspired by one of the most effective camouflage outfits to blend into the savannah: that of the leopard. But in your workshops, these ballets of successive fine and delicate lines, then medium, then imposing and spotted, will not play discretion. On the contrary, they will particularly highlight blades of respectable or medium dimensions.
