Damascus of 120 layers forged in fire, its hardness after heat treatment can reach 61 HRC, which makes it a very good steel for the manufacture of kitchen knife blades, since it is suitable for food contact, but also for pocket and outdoor knives for its strength and corrosion resistance.
Its manufacturing technique based on two high-performance Swedish steels and its very fine microstructure without impurities eliminates any risk of the layers bursting during the manufacturing stages and guarantees the blades a good cutting edge retention.
Perfect geometry and symmetry for the eyes' pleasure.
This Rhombi pattern, by Markus Balbach, shows us once again the mastery of the blacksmith from the small village of Hesse.
This diamond pattern with star-shaped rhombs, just like intersecting circles in the water, will suit beautiful blade shapes of all sizes.
