Damascus steel DSC© Inox-S Wild pattern by Markus Balbach.

A Damascus steel with Sandvik stainless steel :

Balbach is based in Germany and has the technology to produce high quality Damascus. As a partner of Sandvik, it offers a Damascus steel composed of two high-performance grades from the Swedish steelmaker. The processing technique makes it possible to maintain a very fine microstructure, free of impurities, eliminating any risk of the layers splitting during the manufacturing stages and guaranteeing the blades a good edge hold. The hardness after heat treatment can reach 61 HRC.

Stainless Damascus steel for kitchen knives :

DSC© stainless steel-S is suitable for food contact, so it is a very good steel for the manufacture of professional kitchen knife blades. It is also highly appreciated for the production of pocket and outdoor knives for its robustness and cutting quality.

This Wild motif by Markus Balbach invites us to touch this damascus steel, to caress it. It suggests the softness and silky touch of wood. He is a very peaceful savage who will suit all blade sizes.
