The FT-Lite heat treatment furnace made by Prederi Vittorio & Figli may be sold at an unbeatable price, but it never cuts corners on quality ! It can reach the maximum temperature of 1150°C in about 25 minutes, and maintain it with constant precision and uniformity throughout the austenitization of your blade.

The FT-Lite electric hardening furnace measures 275 x 275 x 410 mm and weighs only 11 kg. It will easily find its place on the knifemaker's bench! Its innovative vertical loading system, as well as the dimensions of its internal chamber (80 mm in diameter and 150 mm deep), make it possible to austenitize small blades of fixed knives or folding knives.

The FT-Lite compact heat treatment furnace can be used on domestic sockets: with a power of 1.5 Kw, it operates on single-phase voltage of 230 V.

Before using the heat treatment furnace for the first time, it is recommended to let it run with no load at 600°C for a period of 4 hours. To ensure a long service life of the FT-Lite compact heat treatment furnace, it should only be used for hardening steel blades and parts without oil residues. It should never be used to heat plastics, resins or glass, as this could cause irreparable damage to the furnace.

Of course, the usual protections are required: remember to wear heat-resistant safety gloves and all suitable protective equipment!
