Hard aluminium oxide polishing stones for surfacing shaped parts made of normal and hard tool steel.
These hard Gesswein EDM round POLISHING STONES made of white aluminium oxide are designed for precise machining of recessed surfaces of normal and hard tool steel shapes up to 62 HRC.
They are flexible and durable, have low deformation and allow quick removal of the hard layer from your workpieces which are mainly machined by sinker EDM.

Originally intended for the mould and tool making trade for the surfacing and manual precision grinding of hollow or sinuous parts of moulds, Gesswein POLISHING STONES are also appreciated in the cutlery industry for the polishing of concave parts of knives
Lubrication required during the machining process.
Gesswein EDM round polishing stones should always be used with a specific lubricant (B1 oil) which will facilitate the cutting without saturation of the stones and will prevent their clogging for a greater efficiency by avoiding premature wear.
To be used as is or with a tool holder.
With dimensions 1/4" x 6", the Gesswein EDM round polishing stones can be used directly by hand or with a tool holder for a better comfort of use.
