The result of the know-how of the German company Bachmann, which also produces the composite material Juma, Elforyn is a reproduction of elephant ivory, which comes in three different grains and qualities: Ivory White, Ivory Grained, and Super Tusk, the latter being the perfect reproduction of elephant ivory... Right down to the smallest detail!
Characteristics of Elforyn synthetic ivory - Super Tusk
In addition to its excellent technical and aesthetic qualities, Elforyn Super Tusk bears an uncanny resemblance to real elephant ivory. After working and polishing the insert, it will indeed reveal a veining that is truer than life, even reproducing the famous Schreger striations, present even in the smallest details. Thus, Elforyn Super Tusk can be used to make handles as well as knife guards and inserts, and will retain its resemblance to real elephant ivory.
