Need heat treatment products for your knives blades ?
Eurotechni offers you everything you need for optimal heat treatment of your blades, whether in stainless steel or carbon steel. From protective atmosphere and quenching oil to Satanite for hamons, you'll find a complete range of heat treatment products on our eshop.
Satanite, refractory clay for hamons
Satanite is a refractory clay used for selective quench (hamons) : by isolating the back of the blade with the clay, only the cutting edge of your blade will be hardened during the austenitisation. Beyond the aesthetic aspect (as it is possible to etch the demarcation between the two zones with iron perchloride), doing a hamon increases the flexibility of your blade, as the unhardened back will retain a certain ductility.
A quenching oil for every application.
Quenching oil is a must for your heat treatment. Specially designed for heat treatment, our quenching oils come in 10-liter cans, ideal for filling your quenching tank. TO19R is a highly versatile accelerated quenching oil, suitable for all types of steel. INO 235 is a highly accelerated quenching oil, especially recommended for high-carbon steels without alloying elements (type XC75, XC100, C130...) - although it is suitable for all steel grades, carbon and stainless steel alike!
Condursal and stainless foil for your protective atmospheres.
To avoid decarburization and improve quenching quality, we strongly recommend quenching your stainless steels in a protective atmosphere. Whether stainless steel foil or Condursal protective paint, these two products guarantee optimum results and considerable time savings in the workshop!
