Professional materials.

The HOME BLADE KNIFE KIT - LE MINEUR by Eurotechni is made up of ready-to-assemble elements made from the same materials as those used by professional cutlers, a guarantee of solidity and longevity :

- A heat-treated Sandvik 12C27M stainless steel blade. It is engraved with Eurotechni new logo, a rhinoceros.

- Two X6Cr17(430) stainless steel liners (dimensions 104 x 29 mm)

- One X20Cr13 (420) heat-treated spring

- X6Cr17(430) stainless steel rods to assemble the knife

- A pair of natural olive tree wood scales.

- A real leather sleeve.

The blade is made of 12c27M stainless steel from the world famous Swedish manufacturer Sandvik. It is heat-treated following an adapted heat treatment process which increases its hardness, resistance to external aggressions and oxidation. This treatment also ensures that the blade has a high cutting performance after sharpening.

The liners, the frame of your LE MINEUR knife, are made of X6Cr17 (430) stainless steel, a steel that keeps it supple and strong.

The spring of your HOME BLADE - LE MINEUR knife kit is made of X20Cr13 (420) stainless steel, a steel that allows good flexibility in all circumstances. The spring has undergone a special heat treated process that gives it the flexibility necessary to open and close the blade without the risk of breaking.

The rivets, made of stainless steel X6Cr17 (430), are to be cut during the assembly of your HOME BLADE knife kit - LE MINEUR to a sufficient length to allow the final fixing of the assembly.

LE MINEUR, a knife steeped in the history of the "Gueules Noires".

With a name that inevitably evokes the miners, this knife was created in the 19th century in the Thiers basin to equip the coal miners of northern France.
