Composed of a superposition of 30 to 60 layers of natural woven cotton sheets for thicknesses of about 15 or 20 mm, these POLISHING DISCS have only one central seam for maximum flexibility. Depending on their bore diameter, they can be used on a fixed machine or with an electroportable or pneumatic machine. Whichever installation solution you choose, our special adapter sleeves will help you to achieve a professional installation.
1seam cotton POLISHING DISCS specially developed for wiping, soft polishing or edging.
With a single seam in the centre, our cotton polishing discs are ideal for dry wiping of your cutlery parts even in hard-to-reach places thanks to their high flexibility. For difficult industrial polishing, whether robotic, automatic or manual, these cotton discs must be used with a polishing paste impregnation to give them robustness and longevity which will make them suitable for intensive use processes.
The speed of rotation is controlled according to the type of work.
The 1 seam cotton polishing discs can be used at speeds ranging from 1400 to 8500 rpm maximum depending on their diameter and the type of process (wiping, soft polishing or edging). It is strongly recommended to respect the speed of rotation adapted to the type of material treated and to the desired result by adjusting the speed of the drive machine.
Multiple mounting possibilities.
With a thickness of 15 or 20 mm, the cotton polishing discs can be mounted in series on the same axis to increase the working width and thus productivity.
