Grey Richlite scales for knifemaking
An ecological knife handle material made of paper.
Richlite is an ecological material for high quality knife handles made from cellulose fibers (paper layers) and thermosetting resin.
Richlite combines strength, resistance and durability with respect for the environment. The manufacturing process consists of alternating layers of paper sheets (for the best possible stability and balance) before hot pressing them, resulting in a strong, dense and machinable material (drilling, tapping,...), all homogeneous and without voids.
Made from paper (FSC certified or recycled) and ecological resin (EcoBind), once worked, it gives a mottled, matt and marbled aesthetic to your knife handles, with the bonus of the softness of leather to the touch...
The ecological material for grey handles is at first dark grey, then takes a little bronze tint.
