Gator Piss is a revolutionary product designed by knifemakers, for knifemakers, to easily etch your carbon damasks and special damasks with copper or bronze inclusions.

In August 2022, the Baker Forge team is working on a unique etching solution to help knifemakers easily etch their carbon damascus steels. Gator Piss is the result of this research, ready to use without the need for additional mixing. The results are more than convincing: steels with a high nickel content, such as 15N20, remain white and shiny when revealed, while steels with a higher carbon content (such as XC100, C130 or 90MCV8) are blackened, for striking contrasts. A mixture of hydrochloric acid, iron dichloride, iron trichloride and distilled water, Gator Piss will give spectacular results on your Damascus carbon blades.
