What is the principle of water jet cutout?
A water jet machine uses pressurized water to more than 3,450 bar. This very fast waterflow moves in a large mixing chamber. The speed of water is so high that it will suck in its bosom a flow of abrasive.
This high speed water and abrasive mixture is then moving into a mixing tube. In this tube, the water and the abrasive are amalgamated into a high speed mud that then becomes the cutting tool.
The mixer tube concentrates the mud of high speed jet on the cutting material: it erods it, and therefore the cut.
