The FT-550 electric hardening furnace is the ideal companion for the knife maker who wants to have absolute control over his heat treatments. Manufactured in Italy by Prederi Vittorio & Figli, the FT-550 kilns shine with their technical capabilities and low energy consumption.
A high-performance, versatile knifemaking kiln.
The FT-550 electric kiln can reach the maximum temperature of 1100°C in a short time: this makes it capable of treating the majority of the grades of carbon steel and stainless steel usually used in knifemaking. Maintaining the selected temperature with absolute precision and distributing the heat evenly throughout its internal chamber, the FT-550 kiln will quickly be adopted by knife makers! The FT-550 is also quite compact, measuring 755 x 375 x 580 mm with a total weight of 45 kilos. It will be easy to find a place for it in your workshop!
The dimensions of its internal chamber will allow you to treat all types of blades : it measures 550 mm deep, for a width and height of 100 mm. Ideal for small and large blades!
Power and energy consumption of the FT-550.
The FT-550 kiln for knifemaking is designed to operate on a domestic power supply: with a power of 2.5 Kw, the FT-550 consumes little energy and operates silently.
Each FT-550 kiln is tested before being shipped: in addition to the instruction manual (in English) and the certificate of conformity, a test certificate dated and signed by the Prederi company will indicate the temperatures and test times to which your kiln has been subjected.
A kiln shipped free of charge throughout Europe!
The FT-550 hardening kilns will be shipped free of charge to the delivery address you have entered in your customer area. You just have to choose "Free shipment of quenching furnace" when placing your order: Eurotechni takes care of the rest! After receipt of your order, the tempering furnaces are tested, prepared and dispatched on approximately D+3 (working days). Delivery times in France are about one week after dispatch of the pallet. The logistics used for the shipment of the ovens being different from our usual parcels, slight additional delays may be necessary: we will not fail to keep you informed!
