Bohler N680 stainless steel for knife blades.
The Bohler N680 stainless steel grade is particularly interesting for cutlery. The Vanadium and nitrogen in its composition make Bohler N680 stainless steel particularly resistant to corrosion and at the same time allows it to achieve good hardnesses after heat treatment. It is an ideal grade of stainless steel for hunting, tactical and marine knives - Bohler N680 is highly resistant to salt water and chlorinated water after hardening.
How to heat treat Bohler N680 stainless steel?
You can find all the hardening and tempering temperatures of Bohler N680 stainless steel in our technical data sheet, which is freely available on the product sheet.
