The 3M™ Trizact™ 337DC GATOR belts are made of premium aluminium oxide grains distributed by the macro replication technology. Thanks to this technology, dry working of the hardest surfaces can be done at medium pressure without the risk of heating up the treated materials.
The three-dimensional pyramid structure of the GATOR 337DC ABRASIVE BELTS.
The pyramidal structure of the structured abrasive and the uniform blocky distribution of the abrasive in successive layers give GATOR belts an exceptional cutting capacity. The homogeneous arrangement facilitates the removal of dust and chips. The cutting performance remains constant and the risk of overheating, deformation and discolouration of the workpieces is considerably reduced.
Continuous renewal of the self-sharpening grains.
The self-sharpening pyramids of GATOR 337DC 3M™ Trizact™ ABRASIVE BELTS remain sharp throughout use and break down after repeated use exposing continuously renewed abrasive grains. The regular grit renewal cycle significantly reduces processing and treatment costs while significantly extending belt life.
A high strength Film-Lok seal.
GATOR 337DC 3M™ Trizact™ ABRASIVE BELTS are assembled with a high-strength Film-Lok seal for smooth rotation throughout use.
The preferred belts in the cutlery and surgical instrument and prosthesis manufacturing environments.
Trizact™ 337DC GATOR belts offer a finer finish, faster predictable results and up to five times the wear life of conventional abrasive products. Its outstanding qualities have made it the most widely used belt type by knife makers for finish polishing of knife blades and in surgical instrument and implant manufacturing environments for the exceptional finish quality.

Designed for dry use, GATOR 337DC ABRASIVE BELTS provide excellent consistency under medium pressure conditions.
Best results are obtained with a medium hardness (50-70 Shore A) rubber contact wheel.
The 3M™ 337DC Trizact™ GATOR ABRASIVE BELTS have been developed specifically for finishing materials that are more difficult to process such as titanium, cobalt, stainless steel, as well as all alloys used in the aerospace, aviation and medical industries. It is also perfectly effective for finishing processes on carbon steel, copper, bronze, aluminium, composite and synthetic materials.
