The poplar is a tree that can be found regularly in the French landscape. Its burr has a very characteristic veining, with a multitude of eyes speckling its surface. During the stabilisation process, these blocks of poplar burl were also dyed black, further emphasising the contrasts of its particular lines. For unique knife handles!
