POLISHING DISCS combining flexibility and hardness thanks to their 3 seams.
These discs are an ideal compromise between the very soft discs with a single central seam and the very hard discs with 5 seams for better support, this range allows aggressive polishing operations as well as finishing work.
A polishing paste will always be required to protect the discs from excessive and premature wear while greatly increasing the processing power. The choice of polishing paste will depend on the final appearance to be obtained.
Caution: never use the same disc with different types of paste.
From 30 to 60 layers of natural woven cotton.
Composed of a superposition of 30 to 60 layers of natural woven cotton, the 3 seams cotton polishing discs have thicknesses ranging from 10 to 20 mm.
They can be used on fixed workshop machines such as a reel for 20 mm bores or with electroportable or pneumatic machines for 10 mm bore discs and 100 or 120 mm diameters.

POLISHING DISCS specially developed to offer excellent versatility.
With 3 holding seams, our cotton POLISHING DISCS have the rigidity needed for sustained surface treatment polishing, but retain the flexibility to also polish or grind.
Of course, appropriate polishing pastes should be used, taking care never to apply more than one type of polishing paste on the same disc.
The speed of rotation is of prime importance.
Cotton POLISHING DISCS are used at speeds of between 2500 and 7000 rpm maximum, depending on their diameter.
It is strongly advised to respect the recommended rotation speeds for the type of material treated, the type of paste used and the expected final result. Often expressed in metres/second, the rotation speeds of the discs must be converted into revolutions per minute in order to adjust or adapt the speed of the drive machine.
Be aware that the reduction in diameter of polishing discs caused by wear will significantly alter the useful rotational speed.

Multiple discs on one shaft: it's possible!
With a thickness of 10, 15 or 20 mm, the cotton POLISHING DISCS can be mounted in series on the same axis to increase the execution width for large surfaces, and thus productivity.
