Casting furnaces are mainly used in the goldsmith's and silversmith's trade to melt precious metals : gold and silver. They can also be used in cutlery to remelt metals and cast bolsters. The KG1 electric melting furnace is manufactured by Prederi Vittorio & Figli, specialists in heat treatment furnaces for over sixty years.
A compact, efficient melting furnace.
The KG1 melting furnace has a melting capacity of 1 kilo. Operating on a domestic socket, it can reach a maximum temperature of 1150°C in a short time, suitable for melting precious metals : silver (962°C) and gold (1064°C) . Each Prederi melting furnace comes with a thermoregulator, a graphite crucible and a pair of tongs for handling.
