Originating in Japan, the Santoku kitchen knife means "three virtues" for its 3 functions: cutting, slicing and chopping. With its unique, highly recognisable shape, it can be used to cut meat, fish and vegetables.

- A Santoku kitchen knife blade made from carbon-filled VG10 stainless steel, guaranteeing a fearsome cutting edge: ideal for cooking!
- A rivet, also known as a stainless steel nail, Ø3mm.
- A pair of natural olive wood scales.
- Assembly instructions.

These Santoku Suminagashi VG10 blades are already tempered, then polished: the most critical stages have already been carried out in accordance with the recommended temperatures and processes to guarantee the blade's hardness and ductility. All that's left is to shape the handle as you wish: the end of the handle and the number of holes that cover it will allow you to personalise it in your own way.

These Santoku blades are made from Suminagashi VG10 stainless steel: this very special grade is a multi-layer steel. It consists of a central core of VG10 steel, renowned for its cutting quality. This core is surrounded on each side by 33 layers of non-hardening stainless steel, which keep the blade supple and ductile. These layers can also be highlighted with super-activated iron perchloride, for a visually sumptuous result. Suminagashi VG10 is particularly well suited to making kitchen knives, so it's perfect for this Santoku!
