Our Blacksmith's tongs for holding blades.

In the world of artisan cutlery forging, one of the most decisive processes is working the blade.

The hammer blows are powerful and precise, giving the blade its shape and thickness.

For the blacksmith's hammer impacts to be effective and optimised, it is essential that the blade being worked is held perfectly in position, without the risk of it moving or even being ejected from the clamp with the risk of injury.

Eurotechni has selected professional Blacksmith's tongs specially designed to hold blades or any other flat part firmly in place.

For optimum hold, we strongly recommend that you choose the right tongs.

For each of our models, the blades or flat bars that can be worked on safely should be 0.236in x 0.394in, 0.236in x 0.984in or 0.236in x 1.496in.

Don't hesitate to ask our experts for advice, and they'll help you choose the model that's right for you.

If the dimensions you require are not listed on our site, don't hesitate to ask our advisers.

Our straight Blacksmith's tongs with U-shaped groove.

These models come in 3 different sizes, most of which are suitable for handling knife blades:

- 11.811in version (arm) with 0.236in x 0.394in jaws (Ref. AAPIN538701).

- 11.811in version (arm) with 0.236in x 0.984in jaws (Ref. AAPIN538704).

- 11.811in version (arm) with 0.236in x 1.496in jaws (Ref. AAPIN538706).

The pliers' arms, which are easy to grip, are finished off at the end with balls to ensure an excellent grip, without the risk of the pliers slipping out of place.

Our V-groove bent Blacksmith's tongs.

Here too, 3 sizes are available for working with knife blades:

- 11.811in version (arm) with 0.236in x 0.394in jaws (Ref. AAPIN538801).

- 11.811in version (arm) with 0.236in x 0.984in jaws (Ref. AAPIN538804).

- 11.811in version (arm) with 0.236in x 1.496in jaws (Ref. AAPIN538806).

The special feature of these pliers is their angled, Z-shaped design, which allows them to grip blades or any other flat part at any point along their length.

The offset jaws prevent the gripping length from being blocked by the depth of the tongss jaws.

These models of bent Blacksmith's tongs are also fitted with balls at the end of the handles to prevent slipping.
