The robustness of 90MCV8 or O2 steel allows you to make solid knife blades. That is why this steel is often recommended for making hunting or outdoor knives. However, this knife making steel can also be used in many other industrial and craft applications, due to its good shock resistance. It is perfect for making cutting tools, stamps, moulds, etc.
A steel for making Damascus blades.
90MCV8 is a carbon steel that is also used to make Damascus steel, its dark colour allows a very strong contrast to be obtained after revealing your blades.
