Usually reserved for firewood because of its slow and regular combustion, hornbeam however reveals unsuspected assets. Stabilized in black, its appearance is inevitably reminiscent of bog oak wood (also available on our website). Except that hornbeam is easier to find and work with, and therefore more economical. Sobriety and elegance are the key words of this species, which, in these dark shades, will adapt without difficulty to any type of knife.
