Svavner is Damasteel's newest pattern, released in late summer 2022. Like all Damasteel DS93X grades from the Swedish manufacturer, the Damasteel DS93X Svavner is obtained by powder metallurgy, guaranteeing a very high purity of the steel. The DS93X is composed of two steel grades, PMC27 and the very famous RWL34, allowing to combine the aesthetic qualities of the patterns with all the advantages of this technical steel grade for cutlery:
High hardnesses allowed after hardening and tempering the blade;
Excellent corrosion resistance;
Easy to work with and polish.
Thus, all Damasteel DS93X patterns are suitable for Damascus knife blades of all types as well as for appearance pieces or jewellery - for our goldsmith friends, Damasteel also offers a range of Damascus steels specially designed for the production of Damascus rings and jewellery, the DS95X steels.
