As a high-performance martensitic chromium steel produced by powder metallurgy, the Böhler M390 Microclean was developed for severe operating conditions. The fineness and distribution of the carbides allow the manufacture of blades that are particularly resistant to wear, mechanical shock and torsion. This feature advantageously reduces polishing times by obtaining a mirror quality polish.
