Bonpertuis Dauphinox T7MO stainless steel is well known in the world of cutting tools for having made the best days of surgical instruments before the arrival of laser technologies. T7MO better known among cutlers under its names 1.4109 (German standard Wnr), 440 (American standard AISI) or Z70CD15 (French standard Afnor)
The T7MO has the characteristics adapted to the manufacture of hunting and outdoor knife blades.
High hardness after hardening, T7MO stainless steel combines good corrosion resistance and outstanding mechanical properties. Its high chromium content makes it suitable for food contact, which makes Bonpertuis Dauphinox T7MO stainless steel a particularly popular steel for the manufacture of kitchen knife blades and cutting instruments for cooking.
